Every Friday night in Oakland, Joke or Get Off The Stage puts seasoned comedians out of their comfort zones by pitting them against each other in a competition-style game show to determine the funniest comic of the night. 5 comedians, 4 rounds, 1 comedian eliminated every round. Audience determines which comedians move on and which one is eliminated. Every comedian must bring their A-game to survive every round! Joke Or Get Off The Stage at the Punch Line Comedy Club features 5 previous winners from the weekly Oakland shows, so you get to see the best of the best go head to head, to be crowned the ultimate winner. Producer / Host Samson Koletkar is the world's only Indian Jewish standup comedian and producer of other successful shows like Desi Comedy Fest, Comedy Oakland, Mahatma Moses Comedy Tour, & The Minorities Stand Up. He has performed in India, Canada, USA and has been featured on CBS, NBC Bay Area, KRON4, Alice 97.3FM, Asian Jewish Life Hong Kong, Ha'aretz Israel, The Times of India & Indian Express. He is the winner of the 2015 International Society of Humor Studies & 2010 Asian American Theater Company comedy competitions, a semi-finalist at 2015 Seattle International Comedy Competition and headlined at 2015 Chutzpah Festival Vancouver and 2015 Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival.
