In 2016, Jacqueline made her network debut on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," shot "The Half Hour" special for Comedy Central, and released her first book "HOW TO WEEP IN PUBLIC: Feeble Offerings on Depression from One Who Knows." Jacqueline was named a 2015 Comedy Central Comic to Watch and 2016 Just for Laughs New Face. In TV her credits include appearances on "Animals" (HBO), "The Characters" (Netflix), and starring in her own Refinery29 series "How to Weep in Public," directed by John Early. Jacqueline just released a second book, "Weddiculous," a collaboration with comedian Jamie Lee. This year she's touring clubs and theaters, opening for Mike Birbiglia, Fred Armisen, and Anthony Jeselnik.
Jo Firestone is a New York-based comedian, actress, and writer. She has been hailed as one of the most unique voices in American comedy, hosting over 40 different formats of live performances including her popular "Punderdome 3000," NYC’s "Inner Beauty Pageant," and her touring show "Friends of Single People." A current writer on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" and a former writer for "The Chris Gethard Show," Jo can be seen in HBO’s "High Maintenance" and was featured in the "Jake and Amir" pilot for TBS. Her half-hour special "Comedy Central Stand-Up presents: Jo Firestone" premiered this September 2017.
Jo was named one of the New Faces of Comedy at the 2016 JFL Comedy Festival, and was one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch for 2015 and Rolling Stone’s Comedians You Should Know in Summer 2017. In June 2016, JO’s long-running NY live show "Punderdome 3000" was made into a card game published by Random House, and quickly became the #1 bestselling card game on Amazon. Over the past year, Jo has performed at Riot LA, The New York Comedy Festival, and Outside Lands and will be seen at this year’s Bonnaroo Festival and Colossal Clusterfest.
